Open Healing: A Minimally Invasive Protocol with Flapless Ridge Preservation in Implant Patients

• The study describes a minimally invasive technique for optimal preservation of postextraction tooth socket (prior to implant insertion) in over 100 patients using Geistlich Pharma AG collagen membrane and bovine bone substitute.
• All patients were treated with the TRI®-Octa Tissue-Level implants.
• Outstanding 98.5% of implant survival rate achieved after 5 years (133 out of 135 TRI®-Octa implants).
• 99.3 % successful osseointegration (134 out of 135 TRI®-Octa implants).
• CBCT measurements confirmed stable bone height, both buccal and palatal/lingual, with no significant statistical differences in all time frames up to five years after loading follow up.
